Inflator assembly, test, product identification and packaging are all performed by this machine. Inflator cans are bowl fed from an 18” CCW feeder bowl through an inline vibratory feeder to a dead track where they are placed into a set of nest jaws on a 12 station RPP Cambot driven index table by a 3 position pick and place assembly. The cans are then advanced to a carbon fill station where a predetermined volume of carbon is dispensed into the can and on to a weigh station where a tare weight for the can and carbon is established. The cans are then indexed to the propellant fill position where a carrier cup with a shot of propellant, predetermined by weight, is dumped into the can. The Propellant Fill station consists of 2 stand alone, double barricaded, auto-loaded, dual propellant fill and weigh assemblies which dump a pre-weighed amount of propellant into alternate carrier cups mounted on an 8 position cam driven index table.
