This machine automatically gang loads two rows of contacts into IDC female connectors. The machine has three stations. The contacts on carrier strips come from automatically driven reels, fed in by stepping motor. The desired amount of contacts are cut off so the number of contacts fit the connector being loaded. Held tight the carrier strip with contacts is moved forward and inserted into the connector.

Most single beam contacts are on .100 centers with which the machine loads a complete connector per cycle. A dual beam contact is mostly on .200 centers. (Click more specifications to continue)
